Summer Tips: Clean & Replace Wiper Blades

Even drivers in the Bay Area need to make sure their wipers are ready to work properly. Take a few easy steps in order to make sure you can clean your windshield on the road, whether due to dirt, bugs or a summer rain shower. 

The following are a few easy suggestions on how to keep your wipers working:

 

• Run a damp paper towel or rag along your wiper blades to clean off any dirt.
• Inspect your wiper blades for any tears or cracks. Make sure to replace your blades if they have any tears/cracks.
• Replace your wiper blades at the interval specified by your owner’s manual.
